I posted this in the EG Forum, but was recommended to try in here for a faster response. If it is out of place mods, please delete.

I purchased a '92 EG and bought replacement roof molding & clips. Per the Helms, you use 4 clips per side and just snap them in. My car was repainted and it appears the previous clips were left in place and painted over. The old ones worked on the driver's side, but one pulled out during removal of the passenger side. I can't figure out how to keep the clips in the unibody's gutter and the Helms list nothing for this. I did find one thread that discussed installion of these clips but no real resolution/explaination was given (https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=826916). Can anyone enlighten me on how to do this? Pictures would be very helpful. Thanks.
