DC5 EK9 BB6 JDM Type R Momo Steering Wheel Ebay Buyer Beware
DO NOT buy a DC5, EK9, BB6 JDM Type R Momo steering wheel from Ebay seller joannelamlam or kcgr27.
On 8-19-2007, I purchased the following steering wheel:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...92542 (scroll down once you click on the link to see the item & description)
The description states: "Very good condition...like new...this is what you are going to get."
Instead, I was sent this other lesser quality steering wheel that was being sold at the same time by seller kcgr27:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...35240
I am 100% positive that I received this other one because I compared all the scatches and markings that you could see in the pictures to the ones on the wheel that I received and they were all there--every single one--along with a small dent in the middle of the Honda emblem that you can't see in the pictures. And as you can see the steering wheel that was being sold by kcgr27 (the one that I got) was bought a week later by maxima-se-5spd.
I notified joannelamlam of this and he/she never addressed the issue, never admitted to sending me the wrong wheel and only offered to send me "another one" not that particualar one if I sent it back presumably on my dime, which is another $69 on top of the $497, or $40 (later $50) to settle. I asked specifically for that steering wheel or a full refund plus the cost to send this one back. Now I'm being blown off altogether.
To add insult to injury, joannelamlam is trying to sell that same steering wheel again. He's/She's even using the very same ad, photos, description, everything. See for yourself:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...ZWDVW
I've asked numerous times for this steering wheel in exchange for the one I received and he's/she's not saying that he/she has it one way or the other.
Honestly I don't think that steering wheel is really up for sale. I think joannelamlam uses it to get reel-in buyers and then sends what ever he/she has in stock--"Bait and Switch".
I am still currently disputing this matter through paypal, he's not responding. I've just called him out on his latest ad and I'm awaiting his response.
Buyer Beware!

Buyer Beware!
Take the issue up with ebay and paypal. If you can prove the wheel pictured is not what you received, then you have a case.
