Default Help with carbon fiber trunk

So as you can see my damn carbon fiber trunk does not line up at all. What can I do to fix it? Doesnt look bad in the pic but if you see it in person you will be like wow that trunk is not lined up.

where did you get your trunk from?
there's only so much you can really do with the fitment.

is it off on one side or both sides?

Looks like the latch on the trunk is too low and not pulling it down enough when it locks. I havn't changed the trunk (only have done a suicide mod on it) on my car so I don't know how the latch and everything bolts on but it looks like the latch on it is too low or the striker is too high on the car. Not sure what you could do but the latch looks to be the problem on why its not going all the way down. As far as the gaps on either side there is not much you can do in my opinion inless you slotted the holes going through the trunk lid arms.

Oh yea I fixed the lip

Well I went to a couple shops and they are tellingme I need to go to a bodyshop to have it fitted perfectly. Everyone who I took it to has been saying that it is the latch. That if I can get the latch to move down then it will sit perfect when it latches to lock. Thats how the trunk sits when I close it tight so I dunno what to do.

it appears as though you might have a VIS Trunk cuz mine seems to do the same damn thing. Best bet is to take it to a body shop. They might get it lined up but still the gaps are still gonna be there... I have to take my care into the shop for the same ****...

there's a rubber stopper on the same area where it isn't line up, screw it clockwise till you get a perfect fit.

I think your lip is making your trunk look more off than it is.
