90 Accord LX 4dr, 5 spd, 49 state emissions. Purchased a Honda oxygen sensor from Majestic, finally installed last evening (Saturday), but the electrical connector doesn't match the one on the car (should have checked before I installed it ). Double checked the listing on Majestic. They actually list two, I assumed that they were just from two different manufacturers and either could be used. Their listing number was 94341; they sent Honda PN 36531-PT3-A12. Can anyone set me straight on what part number I should have gotten? Supposed to drive this thing to Florida on Monday.

I am leary of aftermarket O2 sensors, I was hoping to figure out what Honda part number I should have gotten. Tried to get a Bosch sensor this morning, the connector looks just like the one I got from Honda, won't plug into the connector on the car. At this point, I'll put the old one back in and deal with it when I get back.

What a fiasco, just wanted to change the sensor, took the heat shield off and the manifold is cracked almost all the way around the #4 tube. Found used manifold, but no one could match the metal o-ring from manifold to A pipe. Now the O2 sensor doesn't match. AAARRRRRGGGH!

 

Boy do I feel stupid. The insert from the sensor connector stayed inside the harness connector so the new sensor connector wouldn't plug in. Problem solved.
