for those who own a DA
is there potential on a b18a1? what kinds of streel legal performance parts can you put on it? so far all i added was a generic AEM cold air intake. (sticks carb sticker and AEM decal on a no brand intake)
the b-18a is a fairly stout motor for not having mad VTAK Y0 LOL but yea, there is tons of potential, LS turbo, LS vtec, or just straight up LS lol. with bolt ons and if you know how to drive you can keep up (or beat) newer GS-R's. just research and see. GL

does the 95 cams make a difference?
does the 95 cams make a difference?
Turbo mag had a project car. I think it was a 94 or 95 LS. They did LS/VTEC with basic breathing upgrades and got 160whp. With Skunk2 cams (I believe stage 2) and adjustable cam gears on the dyno they got 190'ish. There might have been more to it, but the whole point was that it was smog legal. Sorry I can't find any reference article or anything. Just throwing the info out there.
This is what I plan on doing with my DA down the road.

lol it really sucks for all you people in cali, just passed emissions in IL, turbo, test pipe, 3"dp, 2.5" exhaust
now I never have to test again. But yes there is a lot of performance parts.
