Default anyone have problems with driveshaft shop axles?

i got these custom 'stage 0' units made due to a problem i've been tracking down for 4 months with my swap of the same vintage. i got them last week and finally got around to putting them in...

well, it was a complete nightmare. they suck through and through. the outer CV on both are SO stiff, it's incredibly notchy and tight, almost as if it's just wrong and/or has no grease. i know it's not supposed to be floppy, but these really take some cranking to get some movement, and like i mentioned, when moved, they are SUPER notchy...

when i installed them, they caused crazy vibrations, alot of clunking, especially when turning and coasting. acceleration didn't seem to be that bad, but it was hard to tell inbetween clunks and shuddering.

i had to just go back to the axles i was using, one by one, and it's now back to the way it was, which is vibration on acceleration as described in a couple threads of mine throughout the past couple months...

def alot better than the mess the DSS axles caused...

any thoughts on why the F the DSS units are so strange?
