early v-tec activation

Default early v-tec activation

I was wondering if anyone know a way to activate the vtec without useing a controller

...... a darn switch. your question sucks ***** though, big time. you dont need a controller to activate vtec. It does it by itself I think you are asking how to activate it sooner.

VTEC activates at a certain RPM for a reason, because that makes the smoothest powerband from the factory. Unless you have different cam(s) in your engine, leave VTEC alone. If you do have after market cam(s), have your ecu chipped and tuned instead of going at it blindly.

all the earlier replys are true but i did pick up nearly 3 tenths by activating vtec at 4200 rpm over 5200 rpm. just my.02

So you're saying that with the EXACT SAME 60ft times, temp, time of day, with the same size tires the exact same pressure, exact same engine temp, you managed to drop .3 off of your best time by changing your VTEC crossover?
