What type of suspension setup do u recommend?
Hi I live in New Orleans and the streets are horrible in city driving and kinda ok on the highways. What type of suspension setup would u recommend with 1.5 or 2.0 inch drop. I'm thinking of doing type-r front strut bar, dc in the rear, and i don't know what type of springs yet. I don't want to get coilovers becuz they might get drity and jam up, also because my friend's ride is really bouncy with coilovers.
Give me ur advice. thanks.

Well its sounds to me you want performance, handling and looks (I think) and not really a 'competition type' suspension.
I recommend a sport drop that way a camber kit is not needed and the pot holes wont keep you from riding out and you wont bottom out. HR, Eibach, Comptech are all good. (Ive had HR and Eibach)
The ride will be firmer and more responsive but not unbearable. Also less body roll. Try that first. Then if you STILL want more performance add a set of adj shocks like Koni Yellows. If you want less body roll then then add sway bars.
I have the Koni yellow and prokit set up and its great for what I need....read my sig...If I had to do it all over again I would have bought the Apex WS coilovers that run $899 or so.

I reccommend a 1.5 inch drop if the roads are aggressive where you live. You wont need shocks with a 1.5 inch drop but for a two inch drop, yes. A larger rear sway bar will dramatically change handling too.
I've very please w/ my Eibach sportline springs, Koni yellow shocks, Neuspeed strut bars, ST anti-sway bar, rims and Dunlops SP9000 setup... I rolled around on the sportlines and stock shocks for a while (cuz I was still in college and didn't have the funds for shocks at the same time).. but if you have the money I'd do it (springs and shocks) all at once to save time and labor ... I have a nice 2 finger gap and the car rides great (even on crappy La/So Cal roads)

Just wondering, which do you prefer and why?

If you get the prokit..keep in mind about the drop. If you get the HR you dont have to worry about uneveness.
