i have my motor and trans clean but i was thinking if i should paint it as youve seen on some threads but i no i need heat paint but where to get it from and how long does it last and will it come off?? i will be washing my bay and motor often so i was wondering if i shud just leave it as it is or paint it? im afraid paint will chip off and look worse any inputs will be nice thanks
We just painted the tranny and block w/ high heat paint, from that time I would say he washed his engine bay about 3 times and it is still immaculate...

i hate to be the one to break this to you but primer isn't paint. a paint job consisting of a base coat and clear coat is 2 stage. primer isn't necessary unless you had body filler used or had scratches.
