will a d16y head fit on a d15b7 block no problem? and does the dizzy for the d15, which is a TD41u work on the d16y head? meaning im just changin the head and using all my old stuff.. dizzy, intake, exhaust.

 

oh, the head that will be going on is not a vtec also..

 

negative. the dizzy will have to be per the head if you want it to fit the bolt pattern on the head. you could make the d15 work on the d16 head, but it's pretty ghetto. I did that temporarily because I was in a bind, but just get the d16y(7 im assuming) dizzy and either splice the plug or get the conversion harness for it.

 

so the dizzy angle is different?

 

yea, if you put a d16y8 distributor on a d16z6, i think you might be able to get one or two bolts in. I can't entirely remember. But to create the best seal you really should have all three bolts secured. It doesn't cost too much to get the plug to make it work.

 

the head will fit but the dizzy will not. u will need to use the d16 dizzy
