Default del sol to 96-98 civic front end

Hey I'm new here and i own a 935 Del Sol. I did a search on this topic and couldn't find any. Since I have all this time and money I was looking into converting my front end into a 96-98 ek civic front end. I heard it was easy and everything should fit right on but i just wanted to make sure. so here's my question. Should the fenders, hood, headlights and front bumper directly bolt on to my Del Sol? Is there any modifications needed to be done? radiator mounts that needs to be changed?

If you have that much money, do a K20 swap.

96-98 front ends look ridiculous on the small del sol.

Del sol is a small car, it looks like a big eyed insect with 6th gen headlights.

If you have to make a monstrosity, do an eg front end. It actually kind of flows with the car.

You'll have to change the radiator support, cut in half each del sol and civic fender and weld them back together, bondo them, snad them, paint them, and fit them. It will never fit like oem.

It's not a direct bolt on, lots of cutting measuring and welding. It will be expensive if you want good paint and a good fit.

Save the OEM del sol fronts!!

I have a B20 in it already and is about ready to be turboed. And I'm not really going for an OEM look. Right now its grey and I was planning to put a Wings West full body kit on it. Not trying to be ricer or anything. But thanks for your help

Those statements don't quite add up.

OEM Del Sol front end shouldn't be changed for any reason. Front end conversions are the biggest waste of money ever, and for what? To look like crap? Because that's what they look like.

Go with a civic EG front end on the sol instead of the EK front, If you insist on going with a diffrent front end. It looks a lot better than the EK front end on a sol.

let me rephrase that i was curios if somebody had one on their comp Im not going searching through that many posts to find a pic. Why well because me being an EJ6 owner im not to worried about the appearance of the front end of my non existant Del Sol. I was just curios and maybe posting a pic in here would help the OP a little more on swaying his mind from the ugly Ek convo. Thanks for your concern though

As I agree with ek forever guy.

When you do a search and it yields results like that - and you're looking for a picture.

Note the little camera icon next to some of the posts - that indicates that the thread has pictures in it.

That helps a lot, in the future, please search more, and not be lazy .

Ok well Im sorry for being lazy thanks for posting all those threads. Let me put it this way running a laptop from the early 90's with dialup isnt very helpful. Especially since it seriously will take about 5 minutes to load up one thread when no pics are involved in the first place. I was not aware of the little camera ive never really noticed it until you metioned it thats for pointing that out Syndacate. All in all Im not trying to be lazy Just not knowing about the camera icon I didnt want to hve to go through 10 threads and 1 hour of waiting and still end up with no pics showing me. So all in all I apologize EK guy OP and everyone else for being a jackass....
