Default championship paint question.

well i am going to paint my car and the guy i took my car to said the paint and the meterial itself is going to cost close to $1000. i told him to get the best paint and clear coat. he is painting the whole car including the door gams. does the price for the meterial alone sounds correct?? thanks.

May be better off posting here: https://honda-tech.com/zeroforum/84

Sounds kind of high though. The paint should not cost more than 300-400ish. I do know what other materials he is referring to. Get a break down from him.

1000-1500 for installing a JDM front, 2,000-4,000 for a good full car spray, 500ish on dings, plus the labor/materials for anything else... If this guy checks out and his work is good, sounds like your getting a decent deal.

These are estimates from what I have seen in the past. I am by no means a paint pro
