ok i noticed as i was driving my 02 Type S but i was heading towards the house to go to sleep and i been riding around with the windows down and as i was turning at slow speed i heard a strang noise so i rolled the windows and didnt hear nothing when i had it in neutral but once i put it in 2nd gear and gave it some throttle i heard some thing like vibrating making a loud noise and then once i started going up hill it got even louder so right now im thinking the complete tranny it self is about to give out on me i have another tranny laying in my garage at home but i dont really want to change transmissions but if i have to i will but anyways what do you all think?

 

check your heat shield, it could of came loose and the rattling could be that.
i highly doubt it would be your tranny unless it's hard to get it into gear, you get constant grinds, keeps popping out of gear etc.... the reason i say i higly doubt it's your tranny cuz if your tranny didn't work properly you would know.
