Default just installed short shifter and shifts are too tight

I just put in a dual bend short shifter and an energy suspension shifter bushing kit. I have to force my car into gear, what did i overtighten?

the bolt that holds the linkage to the bottom of the shifter is more than likely a little too tight. loosen it just a little and see if it helps
