Default 93 ex coupe.

Depending on the amout of others opinions, I might be buying this 88 crx, that need a distributer, 1000 bucks, i currently drive a 93 ex coupe. It has the d16z6, i would like to swap that into the crx and make it california emissions legal. And swapping a H22 into the 93. I know the swap, and other thing, just do you guys think it would be worth it, to do all of that, or should i just kee the d16 where it is and build the hell out of it. Of course, i will do some limeted amouts of building if it were in the crx, to keep it legal, and would like to build a race only, civic with the h22. What would you guys do?

Screw the EX.

Keep it the way it is and drop the H22 into the CRX.

Most power with lightest chassis = win.

Hmmm.
Never thought about that. That actually sounds like a very good idea. I still want to make the Ex Look like a clean JDM Honda and not just one of those ricers going down the street (which is its current condition). So what does everybody think about boosting the H22, other places say theyre great under boost, and some say they are just time bombs. I know that anything is possible. And know about block building for boost, but what is your guys opinion?

should I Buy,
88 crx Needs minor body work(new hood, stock painted wheels gotta go), $2500.
88 crx Need a distributor, as far as i know, probably will need body work dun know. $1000

Both are close to stock, the one for 2500 I know is currently registered, and is still a daily driver.
Dont really know about the other one, the guy said it just needs a dist.

Throw the h22 in either and boost it.

Weight isn't different enough. The h swap will be easier in the 5th gen anyway, more clearance.
