Hello people, Im really new into this.. I was trying to change the oil of my D15B transmission but I cannot find the Speed Sensor Hole to fill again the transmission...

Can someone please show me where da hell is it located at???

He wants to fill via the vss hole, so it doesnt help much

 

Its on top the tranny towards the back left...cant miss it.

get a piece of rubber tube and attach it to the end of transmission fluid and squeeze.lol

 

you arent supposed to fill it from there. the pic with the 2 bolts on the side is the one you want (black and white) you drain with the bottom one, and fill with the top one, replace both washers when you do this.

the reason you use this one and not the speed sensor hole is that the one on the side is there for a reason, so you do not over fill. you fill the tranny on a level plane until it starts dripping out the side. thats as full as you want it. get a funnel with a tube from auto zone or something.

Yeah, that's the half-assed way of doing it - but works.

The real way is to use that *****-pumper looking thing .

 

I just use the fill hole, 2 feet of heater hose, and a funnel.

Works great. No ***** pump or filling through the VSS required.

Yeah, but you gotta use the ***** pump on other cars where you can't just pop off the VSS and fill it through there - it's just a habit that sticks.

 

use the vss. 1.9 liters of fluid, and done, dont over fill.

Or you can use the VSS because it's about 10x easier. Nobody says you can't unbolt the fill plug and fill through the VSS until liquid comes out. If you actually use the fill hole to put fluid in, you have to take it out periodically to see if its full, which makes a massive mess and adds the frustration of putting a long tube in that annoying-to-reach location multiple times.

Use the VSS while the fill plug is unbolted. /thread.

 

what makes the fill plug so hard to use? plus it prevent under and over filling.. do things right!

That's all I ever use, works great every time.

 

I've never had a problem using the fill hole/funnel with tube combo, but to each his own.

how does it make a mess. your supposed to fill it up to that bolt so if its full it should not come out at all.
