K so I just finished installing my JDM side markers on my EJ8 and I have a question. The previous owner had some ghetto side markers from probably APC or something and decided that he would glue them in!?!?! He used from the looks of it, RTV sealant. Well the outline of the first side marker is now showing and its really bugging me! What can I use to get rid of the sealant trace and residue of the paint without damaging it???

 

Ive had success with a product called goo-gone. I used it to remove some sticky adhesive residue.

 

Yeah I have heard of it. Im gonna give it a shot. I have never used it before. What should a apply it with? Just a rag or something?
