Who's had experience with the Joe Rocket Rio jacket??
Well I'm getting close to being in the market again for a bike so it's time for new gear. Who's got an opinion about this jacket?? Thanks guys

I only wear it when its really really really really hot. I'll admit that its comfortable but I feel "naked" when wearing it. It's just mesh and pads, which isn't going to do much if you go down but better than just a t-shirt.
don't get it , i low side my bike going 60 about 2 years ago, and it didn't hold up for ****,
get a textile jacket they hold up better..

Mine seems okay, although it is minimal in protection. It does vent very well, and is a lot better than wearing a t-shirt alone.

The New Enough deal is actually exactly what I was looking at. I just want something to wear while I'm riding around downtown or running errands. Something that offers protection but keeps me really cool cuz I get hot really easily. It wouldn't be my only jacket, fyi as well.
I don't plan on wearing it on the highway or on roadtrips or on any long distance, high speed excursions. I'll probably pick it up cuz, well ****, $25??

That's what I did... honestly, as long as you aren't heading out on the freeway, or getting up to insanely high speeds it should do okay. If the jacket protects you, while sacraficing itself, so be it: it cost $33.08 after it is shipped to your door (a t-shirt or two from the mall costs that much).

For sure, I'm doin it then. Thanks for makin up my mind
Do they run small, big, or average?? Last jacket I has was a TZ-1 in 48/58 and it fit me like an XL or a really big L. I'm 6'3", 180 lbs with monkey arms

My medium is a snug fit, and I am 5' 11" 168 pounds (lean, and muscular) with "monkey" arms as well. It isn't un-usably small, but it does fit a bit tighter than my other 3 jackets. I would say the fit is average of a medium.
