Default 88 civic dx project(need info")...

i'm looking for info regarding 88 civic dx's, for example i want to know;

-will the front spindles need to be replaced to swap in a b-series(or was that just crx)
-will any 88-91 si interior bolt in place of the dx interior(seats do not right)
-how big a pita is it to start w/a dx car(its cheap)???
-normal 90-93style integra brake upgrades should work for an 88?
-wiring is just normal dx-si conversion for b-series

basically what i'm looking to do is start a new project and i'm looking for sites, info, help, basically anything. i did a search but not much help. thanks guys.

well the wiring might be a PITA from a dx to si but its not that hard to get over that.

no not any 88-91 interior will work considering your seatbelts aren't in the door. you can only use a 88-89 door panels and rear panels.

no the brake upgrades won't work

the seats don't fit, like as in si seats instead of dx ones. You can make custom brackets or take the seats to an upholstry shop and have the pans switched out on the bottom. the dx isn't hard to start with it, its lighter. its just the fuel injection thing thats it. the other question i can't answer, i can guess but i don't wanna give the wrong info

I have an 88 civic DX and these are the upgrades that I did...currently.
91 rear integra disc brake assembly and ebrake cable. hasport mounts, 97 LS engine, non obd distributor and injectors from 91 integra. Axles and intermediate shafts from 91 integra too. y1 cable tranny. pair of black recaro seats (bought used) had to take the center arm rest/compartment off to fit the seats. Cut and put 2 metal bars and drilled holes to transfer the stock brackets and sliders. Put some washers on the outside rails to level the seats. works good and spent less than $25 bucks for the custom brackets. I will post some pics with the new jdm front end that I installed in 3 hours...except wiring the lights is taking me a couple of days now...as soon as someone teaches me how to post these damn pics. Also, I'm using the stock brake booster.
