i need a OBDII GSR engine so its nice and easy to swap into my 99 Ek and i have a freind with a wrecked integra thats a 96, but im not sure if its OBDII Or OBDI. someone told me before what they were, but i was unable to find that post and needless to say i forgot. thanks to all that let me know.

Yeah your friends 96 engine will work. That's the first year of OBDII

yeah, i know for my swap OBDII is better in terms on ease for dropping it in my car,(no re-wireing any crap) and yes i have the skunk2 mani. but as far as i know between OBDI and OBDII, the OBDII has more sensors(2nd o2 and a few others) but otherwise is the same damn engine, when you use the conversion harness to make OBDII to OBDI all that is being done is not useing some sensors so that the OBDI ECU works, which in my case has a mugen program. at that point, there should be no reason as to why a OBDI engine is better than a OBDII (im refering to B series only) anyone correct me if i am wrong????
