94 ex ecu issues.. HELP ASAP!!!

Default 94 ex ecu issues.. HELP ASAP!!!

got a 94 civic ex... with just a intake... put in my buddies p28 chipped ecu that was in his 93 ex with his it works like a charm pulls harder then stock everything is nice

put it in my car... runs fine but when i go to floor it it holds back then wehen vtec is supposed to kick in at around 5700 it just stops like it hits a rev limiter.... WAT THE expletive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I could say that this is why you should never run push on a basemap.
I could say that every car is different and runs differently.
I could say that you likely have the CEL on and there is something wrong with your car. (or his)

but I will not. I'll simply ask what kind of chip it is and where he had it tuned.

no cel is on... its a mugen program for a d16 vtec... ran like a dream in his car

curious what would cause this... to much timing? not enough timing? not enough fuel? 2 much fuel?
