Default Bay Area Shops?

I know it's been discussed 100 times..

but so far I've tried contacting 3 of the top rated shops in the area here from advise on those theads I searched... and not one shop seems to want my business.

I've got an ITR swaybar and beaks subframe reinforcement to install after I pulled out the stock one and realized I couldnt get the spot welded nuts off.

job couldnt possibly take more than half an hour an easy fit in to make a quick buck... but no.

I feel like Im getting treated like a d-bag cause Im not buying parts from them or having them do a full engine swap turbo dyno session spending thousands upon thousands of dollars.

I tried contacting Redzone, phone, email, an PM... no response after a week of pestering them

Tried a couple of other shops that told me "they didnt have time" or some other lame excuse, which we all know is code for "you're not spending enough money to make my time worth it."

So I ask you guys.... Are there any reputable shops around the Oakland area that will do a good job, wont rip me off, and will treat me with respect and try to earn my future business by helping me out with the small stuff when I need it instead of blowing me off like Im some chump?

I've learned to do it myself. It may take you longer, possibly cost more, but you know what you've done and if it should break you can fix it. You now have confidence and knowledge. My first car alarm took 3 days and was a complete mess, but now they are a snap (6 hours) and they install looks great. Same for the mechanical stuff. Consider doing it yourself. Start small and work into larger projects.

Just go to Golden Auto Muffler on Folsom in S.f. or on mission in Daly City. They can help you out.

Redzone is Spoolin Performance now in Fremont.

From my experiences with them they are a cool shop. They may be busy, but I bet they will help you out.

Im fully confident in my ability to work on cars. coming from a VW background, i've rebuilt 3 motors, and replaced just about everything on 2 different cars.

I've always heard that hondas are super ez to work on, and so far that's proven true in comparison to those meniacle Germans.

However I just simply dont have the tools to blast out these tac welded nuts and I dont want to go making a mess of my subframe with a chizel and sledge.

i dont need welding work done, I need welding work UNDONE so i can mount the subframe reinforcement plates.

If someone F's up my car, I'd rather have it be the shop, who will be responsible for fixing their error, vs me just eating the costs of my own brutality.
