theres a teg in my area for sale, its a 2001 GSR, with 1,212 miles, it was some showroom car, barely driven, perfect condition, absolutely perfect, i car fax it, everything is legit, the lady is asking 12g. what do you guys think the car is worth? i knows it has crazy low miles so its like brand new, but i mean its still 6 years old.

the car will probably come with salvage title, so you gotta take that into consideration. Also, it's obvious those seats don't come with the car. I think those gs-r come with leather seats. At least she could have put in leather seats to make the car looks original.

 

she said in the thing that the last owner had the car sitting in the driveway and the interior was stolen, so she put those seats in which if someone new it was a gsr, why didnt they boost the whole car instead of sitting there taking the interior apart, and its not a salvage title. at least i dont think so.

 

yea, i saw about the theft part. My point was that she could have put in leather seats for them to look authentic. I'm pretty sure 2001 gsr don't come with cloth seats. You might want to check the title, sometimes you don't need much to be deemed salvage.

 

thats a pretty crazy story, quite hard to believe, check the vin, run a carfax, make sure all the vins match.

Very hard to believe but look at the bottom of that thing..

 

Also, why would the dealer keep the car in its showroom for 6 years. Acura stopped making integra after 2001.

 

You're looking at a great car that has been taken care of and regulary mantained,always garaged,


Why need any regular mainenance on a car that has 1212 miles?

HELL NO! $12,000 DATS BULLSHIT..BRAH JUST THINK ABOUT IT FIRST.. ITS A USED CAR, A 7 YEAROLD CAR..IM SURE THA VALUE OF DA CAR WENT DOWN... ID SAY ITS NOT WORTH IT..

 

gsr with 1200 miles, that compression looks pretty low...

 

i could set my gauge cluster to say 1,200 miles too its easy to roll back the miles to where you want it its illegal but people do it and i doubt that car has 1,200 miles maybe im wrong but has no leather seats and 94-97 taillights and is it salvage??? cuz if it is i wudnt give you 8 grand

 

ya i have a 2000 gsr motor in my 94 teg and compression is way higher than yours i smell bs on this one

Yeah, something seems fishy.. why and the hell would you do a compression check on a car, if it really had 1200 miles? Thats a new car.... and the theft thing, ahh it doesnt make sense... I'd say this is BS... Although i dont give a damn how old the car is, if it wasnt a theft or w/e it is, and was legit, I'd pay 20 grand for this biatch.. 1200 miles?? thats insane...

 

It does have the smaller ABS pump and the revised brake MC, so that checks out. It would be EXTREMELY time consuming and labor intensive to convert the 94-97 brake system to the newer 98-01 brake/ABS system, so it for sure is not a 94-97 car.

My guess is (if it's for real) the thieves took the interior, mirrors, and taillights. But why they were replaced with older parts, I don't know. That interior looks exactly like the one in my 94 GS-R. Even the door panels look the same.

But yeah you could get 98-01 GS-R's with cloth interior, but the pattern looked alot different than that.

 

imma check it out since its the next town over. i'll see how it runs and ****, cause yea it sounds like bs but i dunno, we'll see.

 

Yeah I also love how somebody spray-painted the center hats of the brake rotors and just let black paint overspray get all over the swept area of the rotors

 

just be carefull but to me it looks shady...plus doesnt even have the stock tail lights or rims...doesnt 98+ GSR have leather door panels?..or is that optional...

I have a 95 With leather.....

 

Basically it comes down to this for me.. If the drivetrain AND car seriously only has 1200 miles, I would jump on that.... my brother paid 11 for a GSR with 60K a few years ago....... all that stuff is very minor and can be changed over, so the interior is cloth, get a gsr interior on ebay or soemthing, that car has NO miles....

 

Has the OP seen this car in person yet? because im really debating whether or not I should go see it in person to see what condition its really in.

 

go and check it out man, she said you have to meet her away from lowell for security reasons lol. im in tyngsboro so lowell is like 5 minutes.
