somebody please help me! whenever the starter engages the brake light comes on with it, WTF?! Also after trying to crank the motor if you leave the key in the on position you will hear a humming noise coming from the intake manifold-thermostat housing area. Somebody please share some toughts with me. I appreciate it.

your e-brake light should be coming on only if you are low on brake fluid. have you checked? is there a leak? you know, like when the master cylinder goes out, they tend to leak fluid.

thanks for replying, the master cylinder is fine. its full and its not leaking. Also its in pattern with the starter..when the starter engages the light engages and so on. Its like some sort of electrical problem.

the ebrake has a sensor near the rear of the actual emergency brake handle, check that out and make sure it isn't loose.
