sound dampening
Large can of gasoline and a lighter, but you won't have a car left either. Seriously, depending on how new it is or the condition of your car this process can suck. I've had some peel right off and then the stuff that was really on there needed some love. My suggestion for the difficult stuff is a GOOD heat gun (home depot $50) and a putty knife (2"-3"). Don't get a large knife, you can only take off little bits at a time. It's messy, time consuming and you may want some insulated (welding) gloves. There's nothing like a hot sticky tar like material stuck to you burning your skin. Oh, why are you doing this? In my 95 EG the factory material was loose at most spots and doing me no good, so I got rid of it and put in some dynamat, but if your factory stuff is in good shape, leave it alone unless you need the extra 20 lbs. off the car to win a race for MONEY. There's no point to doing all this unless you're really racing (SCCA) and even then 20 lbs. If you've come to this point for weight reduction I hope the rest of the car is feather light first.
Good luck!
