Default d16y7 in 91 Si!!

comin to the final stages of the swap and just had a few questions for those of you that have done this swap before. First what radiator hoses did you use? second there is a rubber peice on the wiring harness with 2 little round clips on the inside on the a6 wiring harness (same wing of the harness that the alternator plugs into) and i have no idea what to do with it. i know that there is some kind of senor that is on the back of the block on the a6 because i checked my 89 si. what did you guys do with these wires? also... extra noobish of me, but i have no idea wich spark plug wires go where on the dizy... thanks for the help in advance

sounds like the connector is for the cooling fan switch which was on the back of the block on your old engine and is on the thermostat housing on the Y7 - you need to swap a 2-wire connector onto the wires and plug it in - spark plug wires are like this:

I am not sure exactly what engine the y7 is out of but most likely the hoses you need would come from that car (may be the same as 89 si but not sure) since most civic radiators have the same locations for the hose connections, the actual motor would dictate the needed hoses

edit: one way to tell which spot on the dizzy is the #1 cyl is to take of your cap and spin the motor over to tdc, just see where the rotor button is pointing and that will be your #1. of course you know all these 4 cyl motors have the same 1-3-4-2 firing order it;s just a matter of finding #1

your gonna need to get swap the water neck piece that bolts to the head, i just put a d15b2 in my 97 hatch and i had to use the neck piece off of the y7 because they are angled different.

the bottom hose fits the same.

keep the fitting on the head the one with out the screw and use the stock radiator hose and custom fit it for it to fit nice all it needs is one bend in it just cut the stock on to where it fits.
