Anyone know of DLC (diamond-like-carbon) coated piston rings?
I am curious if anyone knows of a manufacturer who has diamond-like-carbon (DLC) coated piston rings for b18b, or any other DLC coated parts like cams, cam followers, etc? For those who haven't heard of this coating, it is a VERY hard, VERY low friction coating applied with a plasma enhanced vapor deposition process. Please post any sources you have. I know there are companies who provide coating services, so let me know if you have used any of those and what you experienced with them.

Here is a company that will coat parts with the thin layer coating I'm talking about. It reduces friction from uncoated steel with 10W30 by 45%. It also reduces wear to almost zero, especially for street applicaitons. Check it out here:
