Default 2002 MDX Radio removal

I disconnected my battery and I don't have the code for my radio as I bought my 2002 MDX used and no code was included (I now know to ask!). The dealer says they can only give me the code with the Serial Number of the radio and not the VIN number. So, I have to remove the radio to do this. Can anyone provide advice or a pointer on the web to instructions on how to do this? I do not want to 'trash my dash' doing this nor do I want to pay the dealer $80 bucks or Circuit City $60 to remove the radio.

Thanks

if your worried about "trashing our dash" then take it to the dealer and pay 80 dollars.

its a long process starting with removing the center console and then everytrhing else around the radio to get it out. its worth 80 bucks, unless you go buy a new CD player for 300
