It would be fine. Just expect your V-TEC to be loud as **** after this modification. Just giving you fair warning.

LOL. Ok, fuel pressure is controlled by the FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR, not the fuel pump.

It's a little on the heavy side. Why are you wanting this? Do you have cams and big injectors, or what's making you want this?

About to buy a brand new complete head and build it with skunk pro1's currently running stock 95 ej1 pump

Next year i plan on the spoon 1.8l stroker kit shooting for 225whp

Hopefully this thread will eventually get on track. If your planning to build your motor down the road, it is probably not a bad idea to upgrade the fuel pump. I am using a 255lph WALBRO pump and oem ITR fuel reg with my mild set-up.

yea i'm hoping it will .. i'm looking to make 215whp before touching my bottom end .. but it seems like 255lph would be overkill unless you plan on going turbo?

215whp from a 1.6 with pro1's i just dont see it happening.... 200 is almost a near feat with a 1.6 liter.

You will need a 25 shot. I tried to obtain that 200 whp for years. 215 is just silly.

i have seen plenty of 220+ whp engines on the stock fuel pump... i dont see the real need for a big fuel pump on a wimpy 1.6 liter allmotor engine
