Rear disk brake conversion help!!!!!!
I just bought rear disk brakes for my 00 civic for $50 problem is all lines were cut and didn't come with ebrake cable or any other lines. What will i need to put these on my car and where is a good place to get the parts i need used/aftermarket?
does your car have abs? the brakes came off a 00 si? the ebrake cables should work on your car , pretty sure all you need is the brake lines,um your best bet would find a junkyard with a 00 si, , find stainless steel braided lines, i think the company is called earls they make good stuff, try summitsportcompact.com
Just get OEM replacements from your dealership. Get lines and ebrake cables from a 99-00 Civic Si.

i have a 2000 civic and i have these rear disk brakes but i dont know what they're off of i posted a new fourm with detailed pictures of the brakes
The LCA looks like a 96-00 Civic LCA. They must have come off a 99-00 Si or if any of the 96-00 EX's came with rear disc brakes possibly from an EX.
Look in here, there is a thread that tells you how to use your old arms for the swap: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread/1998336

Why add ABS? It will only cost you much more $$$.

I concur, ABS ftl.
Just leave it off/unplugged/disconnected/etc

Yeah i wasn't sure if it was hard or not to add it i honestly could care less if i had it or not. So from what i'm getting i should just get 99-00 si ebrake/brakelines and then i will use my old arm to replace the messed up one

Correct!
Correct!
well what all needs to be done if your 96 and up civic coupe has abs and you want to retain it and ur using the rear disc brake setup off of a 99-00 si????
also, wouldnt 96 and up integra rear disc brakes work on 96 and up civics???
what about the proportioning valve? isnt that needed to complete the rear disc conversion?
