Default please help with oil/ coolant leak...

i do not belive the two are mixing, they are seperate leaks. it is a 90 dx hatch. i just changed the oil/ oil filter, but believe it leaked before as the old oil was low. it is a puddle right under the oil pan, and the only place i feel wet oil is around the drain screw, and on the lip of the oil pan where it connects to the bottom of the engine. there is also a coolant leak that seems to have formed after i changed the oil. perhaps i knocked something loose trying to get to the oil filter? in the puddle of leaked oil (about the size of a dinner plate) there is a puddle of coolant about the size of a dollar bill. BUT, there is also a seperate drip of coolant the size of a quarter to the left of the other puddle, right near drivers side. i looked under around and thru, i cant put it on a ramp yet cuz my dads ot here to help me. the only wet spot of coolant i saw was a few drips and stuff that was coming off the first cat connection from the eninge, right where it connects to the DP. any suggestion as to where it could be from? sorry about the long post i just dont wanna give a vague description and have a wild goose chase like ive seen on some threads. thank you, Nick.

Did you do the timing belt/water pump change out yet?

Probably need a oil pan gasket and timing change if you haven't done it yet.

JUST TRACE YOUR COOLANT LINES ON BACK OF MOTOR AND SEE IF ANY ARE CRACKED OR HAVE BEEN KNOCKED LOOSE......CHECK TO SEE IF MAYBE WATERPUMP COULD BE LEAKING AS WELL

If you have coolant dripping off your cat then most likely your leak is originating from one of the heater core connections on the back of the engine so i'd start there.

oil pan gasket would probably be a good idea. is there oil all over your tranny by chance? could be a rear main seal. i know when mine leaked it somehow managed to coat my whole tranny on the outside of it in oil and once it stopped leaking the tranny would stay clean once i sprayed it off lol
