are you talking about removing the IAB's on the stock GSR manifold? I completely replaced it before i boosted my GSR and the car ran fine. You may lose a little low to midrange power, but pick it up in the top end...

Im not gonna turbo it, and so far teh only one Ive really found was the Skunk 2 Intake Manifol, but I heard some bad things so I wanted more opinions, and other options.

skunk2, skunk2 pro series, blox, aebs, and jg victor x are your main options right now. If you go turbo, people tend to like the jg manifold better. The blox is basically an identical match to the itr and skunk2 design...just half the cost. I'm running the first gen skunk2 IM and I've never had any problems with it......fitment was perfect as well.

i would love to know more info about this as well. I'm sorry to jack the forum but, I've had skunk2 intake manifold. I haven't installed it yet. I have a jdm gsr engine. already have aem cai, dc2 4-1 headers, straight pipe is being fitted. would I get any real gains, top end, low end, smoother torque curve? anything I should know about on the skunk2 install? plug up any holes, get rid of rear motor mount(i think)? oh and I wanna stay NA for now. thanks for the help. I think the replies should answer others' questions as well.

when i switched to my HP Racing IM, i noticed a gain in the upper midrange and upper RPMs...that was NA

If you want to know what it looks like, just search for it or look for the Golden Eagle manifold...its basically the same thing

a single stage manifold on the stock p72 ecu will bog after vtec then pick back up in the higher rpm's. you can fix this with a tune.
