do hydro clutches work for cable tranny?

The real difference is the throw out bearing. I have a clutch that came with my D16y7 (hydro) and I used it with a cable trany that had the right throw out bearing. I know you are asking about a B series, it just might work.

It all depends on the year of the trans. If 90-91 must use a 90-91 clutch disc. If its 92 up there all the same hyrdaulic or cable. The input shaft are different sizes on 90-91 from 92+ just a tad smaller.
