I just bought a civic DX and it doesn't have a tach, feels very weird because all my previous cars had one. I would like to know if a cluster from 92-95 Auto Civic would work fine with my 5spd civic. Will it plug and play or will I need to do anything to make it work.

Yes, the auto will work fine. Should plug right up like your existing cluster with the exception of the plug for the tach.

I need to do this to my car one of these days too.

 

What do I do for the tach plug??? Do I need to run the wire fro Dizzy to it?

 

No, the plug is behind your existing cluster.

it's all there, just grab the plug, and put it in your new cluster.

I did the same a while ago, set an auto cluster in my stick shift, just spray paint the auto tranny gears that show in the cluster, I did it with a black spray, be a bit careful, and it will look good.
