Default HEAD GASKET QUESTION

i have a ls/v 81x89 gsr head(milled .010) with a 3 angle valve job and skunk(oem size) valves, my pistons are wiesco(12.4:1) on eagle rods with a dome dish of 8.25 NOW the question i had my buddy place the order as i was at work and he ordered a .045 head gasket correct me if im wrong but since head is milled .010 that would make the gasket more pf a .035 is this safe to run?

as long as u plan on running high octane. i personally would get a .055 head gasket but idunno. u might wanna check your piston to valve clearances. but you should be ok.

they are called "blueprint" stage3 they are like a blox cam but not so perfect i think it has a lift of 12.6 NOW skunk stage2 has a 12.4 lift and stage3 has 12.8 so my cam is like a stage 2 1/2

there is no 55 its .051 or .060 but my compression should be 12.4:1 ok with the 51 its like 12.1 almost 12.2 with the 60 it drops to like 11.8 or 11.9

You're using 103 octane so you should be alright with the compression..

As for clearances, you should clay your motor to see if its safe..

i broke this motor in on a .060 and everything kept going wrong motor kept cutting out but it could have been a million reason need ignition or dizzy went bad needed a high gas i was on pump or just needed to be tuned or cause seals and guides went out haha or cause a ebay header and stock eg pipe dont go good with my motor. fix the head got a new dizzy looking for 370 should have them tomorrow and ill tune with in the month and ill have a profab or something like that. its to late to clay the motor. i just hope this .042 is safe(0.052-.010=.042)
