[...........] I decided to test this unit against a stock gsr as well as a stock ITR unit. I realize that Throttle bodies are nothing new.. however these caught my eye for a few different reasons. some of these being ... they look stock from the out side ( yet ARE NOT factory units re-bored), they are sold with or without a BRAND NEW TPS sensor, they DO NOT have the crappy sticking issues like the 'billet" unit out there. and they are a true 68mm bore throughout. anyways here are some pics as well as the 2 dyno comparisons i did .Iwill be testing these on a bigger setup here in the next week or so .
[...................]
now for the pics

ps: sorry george and 98vtec

I just made the same upgrade on my 2l LSVTEC.
I made 260 with ITR TB, so I expect ~270 from 68mm...

So, I should see similar results if not greater with this 68mm TB?
My setup is a non-VTEC B20Z with Crower 403’s I/H/E/cat. I’m using the stock LS throttle body right now (58mm I thinks).
Could you pm me a price? Just curious are these like P. P. TB’s?
Thanks,

I put one of these new throttle bodies on my set-up this spring. It is a well made part in my opinion and I haven't had any trouble with it. Nice to see them working on the dyno, my results were similar. These look like the Professional Products units but with a TPS sensor included. Only thing is shouldn't the intake manifold be removed and port-matched, was this done on your dyno test cars?
it probably has something to do with them being cast and not cnc'd, meaning that cnc'd tb's can have rought machining spots, grooves and other stuff that can cause them to stick.

If they are the same or similar to the professional products TB's, they will have a 2mm taper. Although I did notice that the throttle plate is shown in the pic above is silver, mine is brass coloured. In for more info.

Just saw that "68mm bore throughout" Thanks.
to Whitfield Tuned for the dyno testing.

My Professional Products TB looks exactly the same as the one pictured, silver throttle plate and all. My guess is it's the same thing. However I didn't get a TPS or have the option of a TPS with my TB.
