Default modifying an RSX-s exhaust to fit an ej8

My friend has a greddy exhaust for an RSX-s that he's letting go for dirt cheap, close to the cost for a good muffler alone. I was thinking that I could take it to an exhaust shop and have them change it to work with my ej8, and still be out less money than a custom bent system with a vibrant muffler. I haven't seen an RSX exhaust next to an EJ8 exhaust, so I don't know how much of a difference there is. Anybody know if it's doable, without just cutting the 2 resonators and the muffler off and redoing ALL the piping?

Pick it up and sell it for higher, then use the difference to buy a different exhaust that's for your car.

OR.

Buy it and pay more for an exhaust shop to re-work it to fit your car.

I'd go with #1, but it's your call.

bring it to your local muffler shop and have them welded on to your car. rsx is very quiet muffler and high flow. i have s2000 muffler welded on to my eg hatch and the shop only charged me $35 for welding.

this is a greddy exhaust for an rsx, not a stock rsx exhaust. sorry for the confusion.

If that's the case, I would sell it and buy one for your car. Buy some cheeseburgers with the money you saved

sell it and buy the same exhaust just for your car if you like it. and save some money ibn the process.
