Sup my fellow R owners,I just recently checked my Car modifying funds and have
collected about $800 which I want to spend now..Here are a current lit of my mods:
AEM CAI, Carsound CAT, JDm HEader.....
NOw I want to run N/A and do engine mods first so my questions is whats next?, Can I get camshafts? Cam Sprockets?, VTEC Controller?, If so wha kind....Now I need all your help ASAP...I know I cant get all of those at once..but what would you do next?

Your initial list sounds reasonable but jeeze, man - do you not think that this topic has not been covered here about a billion times.

VAFC and JDM FD or ATS FD.

Or, save your money for some nice coil-over suspension.

 

for $800...i'd get a set of adjustable cam gears and an vafc
or a smsp catback...

 

Yeah BlueR has the right idea.

 

get a reprogrammed ecu, cam gears and fuel pressure regulator and get on the dyno.

 

With 800?? VAFC and tuning, or exhaust.

 

I would get an exhaust and maybe a rear strut bar, oil cap, etc...

 

Save up a little more and run a Hondata Stage 2. You'd have to get the harness/obd 1 ecu and have it tuned. Tuning a somewhat stock motor (or your bolt ons) can surprise you sometimes.

If not, you can afford to get a Jdm 4.7 fd plus the 300 labor install and theres your 800.

 

JDM FD ($500), and lightweight flywheel, installed yourself (if possible)

or

cam gears, VAFC, FPR,some tuning

 

Buy track time............it is the best improvement you can make.

I spend that much in mods EACH MONTH.

 

Save more and get a full SMSP 2.5" exhaust system including header.

 

hondata stage 2 and some track time. see the dyno section at http://www.hondata.com under 6000 rpm they got like 13 lbs more torque in a stock itr, no other mods.

 

I'd say go for a nice exhaust, and V-AFC and tunning

Tunning is key, it can make the world of difference, also look at getting some motor mount inserts, and other suspension bushings, to stiffin up the ride and give you some more handling and launching ability

 

If I had $800 for my car, I would go to some driving schools but thats me.

 

Would Skunk 2's cam gears, and VAFC with tuning...what would be my noticeable gin..i know not a whole lot..but what numbers am i looking at?

 

Driving schools. Much more fun per dollar and you will actually be able to say you know how to drive your R.

What are you goals for your car? I would go with the final drive, but thats me, some would go with driving school, and other would by weed. You mentioned cams? Do you need more power? Nice tires are a good buy. new break pads. ect.
