Default 4x114 conversion

has anyone done this? do i need to change my LCA's or brake lines? passwordjdm sells the ITR 4x114 conversion but with no LCA's or brake lines or anything. anywho if anyone has any info on how to do the conversion or if they have done it. all info would be greatly appreciated

you dont need the LCA's from the swap. and you can use your oem rubber brake lines.

The rear swap is just like any other rear disc swap...retain all your arms (lca, uca, and toe end link) and just swap the trailing arm. You can use the ebrake lines off the conversion but they are longer and may be a little harder to work with.

As for the front when i got the conversion from extremejdm he told me that i can bolt on everything as is. But when i brought everything home i had compared the knuckles side to side and they are different. The route i had taken was swapping out the hubs onto my oem ones so i wouldnt encounter any problems.

Just letting you know though...if you are planning on keeping the calipers off the 96 4x114 you may have a problem finding the right pads and rotors since they are jdm.

Yea for the rear discs...everything should be the same off a regular usdm integra...

Best thing for rotors for the rear is to purchase 4x100 rotors and just have them redrilled to the 4x114 pattern.

I have had DA trailing arms along with the 96 ITR at the same time and i was able to swap out the calipers at the time. And the rotors were the same dimensions except for the bolt pattern. Im not too sure about the pads...so if you cant ever find the proper pads you can simply buy usdm caliperrs and just swap them out.

The front...I dont know the exact model (but i believe the 96+ prelude vtec rotors NOT FOR SURE) but to skip all the confusion i just called up brian at fastbrakes and ordered 96 itr rotors. I dont know if you are anywhere near westminister but fastbrakes distributes rotors from a rotor shop there and rather than dealing through the phone i bring the exact rotor i need and have them spec it and they would have the right rotor the next day.

Also if you plan on using the 96 ITR wheels the offset on the wheels are +40 and with the whole conversion the wheels dont sit flush with the body...

this picture (not my car) shows what im talking about with the front wheels not being flush with the body

and here are some pictures of the conversion done

thanks swipe'd

hows the rex going...

To the OP i suggest you trying somewhere else other than pwjdm...possibly hmotors or extremejdm because pwjdm usually sells stuff broken, missing parts, and really expensive just because they believe theyre the only ones who has it. As for hmotors and extremejdm they dont sell stuff broken and if you ever deal with vince at extremejdm he is always willing to help, work out the price if something is missing, or even replace parts if they are broken once noticed

Just to understand something.

Rar trailling arms from integra will be a stringht bolt on job.

But how to change the front to 4x114 bolt pattern? Will the integra knucles fit with out any problems also?

For the rear you use da teggy pads and calipers to replace them. and the front you use 90-91 civic ex pads and calipers.itreally depends on what knuckles you use. For the rotors you use non vtec preludes or redrilled integra ones.
