Default weight reduction

Here is a little help getting some weight out of our cars.

This weighs in at about 9.5lbs Just looks a little funny in the stock location. at least in my car.
Contact me if you are interested. BTW it cranks the car just fine. But I don't know if a stereo system would kill it or not.

Had to keep the weight up front for traction... You know. LOL. Makes sense that I put a lighter battery in there right? got to hit 12's for you guys. Wait till you see the Fluidyne civic radiator in place there instead of the stock Accord one... Whatever it takes to get the weight out. Got to put Accords on the map.

I think this new diet plan will net some good results... As soon as I hit my new goal of 12.8 (here at 3100 ft elev) then the car will see a little squeez applied. Until then...BBWWWhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!

how bout some carbon fiber since your car is on a diet...although it would completely ruin the style you have with the paint it still would make a difference in weight...and by the way...is it still a family car? or track only now?

I had a cf hood on the car for a few passes at the track. I actually let up on one of my fastest passes, just about at the end of the track cause I thought it was going to come off of the car. It wasnt pinned just had the stock latch. If I were to go to Cf it would definately have to be painted. I would like to get a fiberglass (skin) hood if there are any out there. My friend had one on his civic it weighed 7lbs. IF anyone knows where I can find a lightweight fiberglass hood let me know please.

BTW, it is still in family car trim, that is why I have to do weird things to get weight out of it.

a gay thing you could do to reduce weight would be to take off the black stock side skirt things and the front and rear pieces of trim...that might save you 20 pounds at the most! (btw...i saw you still had this by the pics in the mag) just an idea!
