Tail Lights on 89 Accord won't turn off.

Tail Lights on 89 Accord won't turn off.
I had put a new battery in last night and within 3 hours the battery had been drained. Well, while jumping the car not too long ago, I noticed the taillights would stay on even with the lights off. Is there another switch or something that controls the rear taillights or is it just a problem with the lights themselves?
Any help would be appreciated.

when you say "they stay on" do u mean they stay on like your foot is still on the brakes or are they just on like you have your lights on.

seeing as he said TAIL lights and not BRAKE lights i would go for like he has his lights on......i would say check your fuses and electrical systems for a short somewhere
