Default Lexan Racing Glass

Has anyone ever used it or heard of it. I'm getting ready to change the front window since its pitted from kids throwing sand out the window on the hwy.

Cars slowly getting turned to track car reason why im looking into going with lexan since its lighter and approved by scca.

Make your own. But beware, lexan doesn't clean easily.

We've made a full glass set for our drag CRX. I'll post pictures if you're interested.

Don't change the windshield, it's illegal in a lot of race series and it'll get cloudy over time. I think windshield wipers would destroy it quickly.

Even making your own tear offs is expensive.

I'd keep glass in the front.

You just gotta use special cleaner/cloth and the lexan polish every so often

I put these windows in my EG race car: http://www.flex-a-lite.com/aut....html

I chose not to do the windshield as it's simply not worth it in my eyes. These windows are pricey but they are good quality.

Good Luck!

Mike
