just priced out a 03 accord motor from the junk yard said it would be 900 .which sounds good to me ,but what kind of tranny should i use and also what do i need for the swap into a ej1 coupe and also will a turbo fit in the as well
That isn't a motor that you can just go and haphazardly slap into an EJ1 chassis. You have much research to do my friend, it's a world of difference from a B or H swap.
At the least, you should buy the motor and try to flip it for a profit.

Dude, seriously, do you have any idea what's involved with any K-swap? I suggest you actually do some research.

You really need to slow the frick down here, kid. What are you planning on doing with this car, DD, track, strip, or do you just want a "fast Honduh"?
People swap in different motors for different reasons.

well my car has a stock JDM B16A and i run 14.9 in the 1/4 mile. 2500 for my complete swap... i rebuilt it and did all the work. 250 hp would be easy at the crank with a B16 turbo... D16 turbo would throw down close to 220 hp if you tuned it right. we are talking crank HP here by the way.

why is that funny i think that would be reasonable fine for a daily driver but my question still would be d16a6 pistons with boost good or bad?
K swaps are not hard. I dont know why everyone freaks out about them. Its just a cable tranny, and you have to remove one mount and replace it with another. Then change the wiring harnesses and your good to go. All these people who say they are hard probally never even done one or tried to.

250 crank you better be getting close to low 13, high 12s.

Yes I agree
K Series Swaps were hard, back when it first started...but its already VERY popular. And there are more parts and what nots available....it's actually not hard (if your experienced with alot of B-Swaps and etc) it's just alot more work, i believe.

u are going to spend a lot of money alone on the parts and labor to make the k swap into eg or ej or ek civic.cause k series engine are new designed and is totally opposite than b or d or h series .but k24a engine has more torque. u can do a b16 or b18 swap.or turbo your d series.you will save a lot of money if u know how to do all these by yourself.cause labor costs more than parts.
Each swap has their own pros and cons. K series cost more now, but later on they wont be so much. The thing about a K series motor is you can make over 200 hp on stock internals with tuning. Thats 100% oem reliabily no forged pistons or anything like that to worry about. You dont even have to wait for the car to warm up if you dont want. Yes you can build a b series up to 200+ horsepower, but you start to lose reliability.
