I got a 2002 Accord auto, that makes a grinding noise when I step on the brakes. The grinding noise comes and goes, either stepping on the brakes soft or hard. But its more noticeable when braking hard. What can be the problem?

did you even think to check your brakes??? to see if there or groves or scoff marks on the rotors?? take it to midas or the equivilant brake shop and have thenm do a free check..then if it's not serious replace the pads your self..but grinding is usually associated with rotors..there your welcome
