Long story short.
someone broke my mirrors. so i picked up thesefrom a friend for 40 bux.



yes i know theys suck .

anyway. i was wiring them up and ended up blowing the fuse. i replaced the fuse and continued wiring the passanger mirror up. however now only the up and down work on both the stock civic driver mirror and the m3 passanger mirror. i took the wires of the m3 mirror and the stock mirror still only goes up and down. no side to side movement. please help


also the aftermarket mirror has four wires.
while the stock mirror has 3.
im guessing the two power wires have to be connected together and attatched to the civics one power wire?

update!
i took ou tthe switch and was about to do what you said when i noticed that part of the board was burnt.

I smoothed it out and put a dob of solder on it and now everything works!!
lol

now for the wires to connect together i noticed that on the mirror which i didint install yet had the blue and white crossed together.
however when i attatched them to the civic wires it keeps blowing fuses!

does anyone have input on this or am i going to just have to figure this out myself
