so i fixed the timming belt, water pump,thermostat,and changed a few hoses.


my car is still overheating like crazy.

i know one of my fans dont work.
sometimes the one that does work will turn on once in awhile unless i turn on the ac.

so what can i do?

i really need help plz

 

Bleed the cooling system and check your head gasket.

 

Flush the radiator, make shure it is not covered in bugs

 

fix/replace your fans

 

yeah i know to do that but see the problem that i am at now is i dont know what fan motor it is.

could it be a relay maybe?

 

You know the wires that plug into the motor for the fan? Touch them together, if the fan turns on, it works. If not, you've got a problem.

 

I had a similar problem. They connected my fan directly to battery, so everytime I turn the key the fan turns on.

 

hmmm well how would they turn off if the wires touches each other?
