Default Plugs and wires

so i have been doing some general maintenance on my car and i noticed that my wires are starting to crack not too bad but i should replace them sometime soon i figure while im at it i might as well replace the plugs. i have a stock d16y8 and was wondering what you have had good luck with, what brands ect. thanks for the help

ooh yeah i was looking at plugs and they show heat ratings what is the purpose of this?

edit: ok so after doing some research i found NGK v-power or irdium plugs and NGK blues for the wires does this sound like a good combo?

I'd stick with plain, inexpensive NGK copper plugs, and the NGK Blue or OEM wires.

They work extremely well, and in general, you're better-off running copper plugs and changing them more often, than running expensive plugs and changing them once every few years.

And Denso. I recently went from NGK to Denso, and worth the slightly extra money.
