i just put comp cams in my integra and now when i rev it and let the rpms drop it dies and at lights it will idel very low like 200 100 rpms then die out. i dont no what it can be i tried tighting the throttle cable but then the rpms will go down very slow. i didnt get it tuned yet with the cams i dont no if that can be a problem or not.

 

You need to have it tuned.

 

did u adjust your valves when u put in the new cams?

 

Get it tuned. The tuner should know how to fix the idel.

 

advance the timing for now so that it will hold an idle, until you can get it tuned properly. it sounds like you timing is retarded a bit to much which would cause you to idle that low.

Advance the timing on an untuned boosted car? That is ******* brilliant.

There is a lot more things that affect idle besides ignition timing.

If someone had a boosted car in the first place,
you should know if you put some bigger cams in, you would Need tuning.
