Just want to ask a few questions about the location of a few sensors and what they are to aid in troubleshooting. I took my 2000 Honda Accord V6 to Autozone to check the codes, but since they only have a basic model all they could tell me is that it was due to the evaporative cannister. I did some checking on some of the components to try to familiarize myself with component location. Seems like there are 2 sensors on the driver side engine compartment that are mounted on rubber that are hooked to the vacuum circuit. I am wondering what these 2 are because one ohms out to 30 ohms and the other shows an open. Do these have anything to do with the evaporative cannister?
The one in question looks like a 3 way solenoid, but one has a miniature plastic can blocking the third port.
