auto meter oil pressure guage question
there is no return line
You need an adapter kit from Pegasus Racing, #1073, and a short length of SS braid line. That and two 1/8" NPT to AN adapter fittings.
for a electric sender unit, mount it to where the oil line to gauge port is. YOu'll need to mount it to the firewall and run a ground wire from the outer shell of the sender to and local bolt on the firewall.
If you mount the sender onto the engine block it will vibrate to death in about 500-1000 miles and Autometer will NOT replace it.

My Picture. I didn't know this would be so popular.
Unfortunately the original "How To hook up an Oil Pressure Gauge" Thread I posted this for is no longer in the archives.

I didn't ground my oil pressure gauge, if I remember right the directions said that I didn't have to but ill look at them again tonight. I did do just what the pic says and zip tied the sender unit to the steel brake lines on the firewall. I just went to the local store that sells earl fittings and bought all the stuff I needed.
